A request for people on Zip.

For some reason, the developers at Zip have decided to remove the following useful features from Zip.ca's website.

-The availability bar in the ZipList
-viewing HD DVDs and Blu-ray DVDs grouped all together so that we can see all the titles Zip currently carries in Blu-ray and HD formats.

They feel that these features were not useful to the members of Zip and have therefore removed them from the site. I feel that they were useful and would like to see them re-added. Sadly, this is not going to happen unless we get more member feedback on these 2 features. What I request from you is to kindly email support@zip.ca and request to have these 2 fabulous features re-added.

Thanks!

New Name?
So Zip.ca is changing its name to Zip It, and initiating weekly emails with new releases and popular rentals.

Thoughts?

I'm always happy to hear from Zip, so I like the new emails idea, but I'm not really sure about the new name.

After a long hiatus, Zip.ca is planning on re-introducing an unlimited rental plan back into the plan lineup. Rumor has it that it will be a 3 DVD plan and be roughly the same price as the 4 DVD plan only with unlimited.

I also heard word of the ZipList prioritizing being numerized (is that even a word). What this means is that you'll be able to organize your titles in the preference of which movies you wish to see first.

Great things coming from Zip.ca!

Zip.ca
Hi, I've been a member of Zip.ca since 2004, and well, was wondering if this community was still active.

Anyone have any thoughts on the service? Complaints?

Personally I love it, the selection of movies Zip.ca has is unbeatable and it caters to lazy people like me with the use of mail instead of having to walk a whole three blocks to the video store.

So what do you think?

Hello. This is a brand new community, but I hope there's enough interest to make it a good one. Please feel free to join and share your experiences with the site you chose, as well as discussing what movies you've seen lately that you've rented through said site(s), but do try and be thoughtful of other people - use the LJ-cut feature (explained here) if your post is long and/or contains spoilers.

If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions, please, let me know.
